It’s great! I don’t think it’s a dimming thermostat though. Seems like it’s a pulse thermostat instead. Unless I just haven’t figured out how to switch it to dimming mode. I wouldn’t use it with a DHP. I’m using it with halogen flood light bulbs from the hardware store though and they haven’t blown out. Have been using it for about a month now. The timer function is great, always turns on at the time I have it set to.
